Day 3: When Did We Stop Listening to Ourselves?

Hello, friends.

It is the third day! I have to tell you, I am really enjoying waking up every morning and writing this blog.

This morning, while sitting in front of my computer, a question came to mind. Those who know me well know that I ask a lot of questions.

When do I hear myself most clearly?

Maybe at the beach, in the forest, while stargazing, laughing with my family, dancing, or having my special friends around me...

Then I realized something.

The moments when I hear myself most clearly are much simpler than that.

It happens in the shower.
Do not laugh, but it is true!

For those few minutes, there is no noise. It is just the water and me.

This is where so many of my conversations happen. Ideas appear, and answers quietly arrive. Sometimes I laugh, other times I cry. Sometimes I simply stand there longer than I probably should.

Perhaps I am a little “Cuco Magu.”

Or perhaps...

That is one of the few moments in the day when life becomes quiet enough for me to hear myself again.

I wonder where that place is for you!?

I feel that the world has become very good at telling us what we should do, where we should be, and who we should become.

Sometimes life becomes so loud that we stop hearing the quiet voice that has always been inside our hearts.

It does not mean that the voice has disappeared.

I believe it is always there, patiently waiting for us to listen.

Have you ever had that feeling deep inside your heart that something just did not feel right?
Not something you could explain, just a heaviness, a pressure, or an emptiness that quietly followed you.

Or perhaps the opposite...

A peaceful feeling that gently whispered,

“This feels right.”

Some people call it intuition. Others call it a gut feeling.

For me...

I like to think it is our soul gently trying to bring us back home.

Not with loud words.

Not with fear.

Just with a quiet whisper reminding us who we are and what truly brings joy to our hearts.
Sometimes, the greatest gift we can give ourselves is simply a quiet moment to listen.

Before We Meet Again Tomorrow...

Today, I invite you to notice one quiet moment.

Not to change anything. Not to solve anything. Just to listen.

You might be surprised by what your heart has been trying to tell you.

Thank you for walking beside me.

May today offer us a little more peace than yesterday.

With love,

Karem
